Setting the table

Anya Jensen1st May 2016

It seems that this year has flown by, and I find it difficult to keep up. The older you get, the faster time flies I guess. When I was small I remember counting the days from my Birthday until Christmas and the other way around. It seemed like forever back then. Now, it feels like if you blink, you’ll miss it. This post isn’t meant to be melancholic, but more a reminder to remember to enjoy the moments you have.

Easter is a favourite holiday of mine. I love celebrating Easter, because it is in the beginning of spring, a time of year I love because it is a fresh start to the new year, everything starts to bloom and the sun peeks out and warms my skin.

We usually have a large Easter family luncheon on Easter Sunday and today I wanted to share my inspirations for the table I have in mind. I hope you find something here to inspire you too, and I look forward to sharing the ‘actual’ table with you shortly.

Do you have big Easter get-togethers where you are, or is it a more simple affair? I love creating a lovely setting and sitting together enjoying a hyggelig afternoon.
