INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS 2019

I attended the IMM cologne interior design fair a few weeks ago with the crew from NKBA global connect, and these are some of the trends I spotted in the Trend Atmospheres zone:

Pastels are defo back in business. Pastels were seen on furniture, lamps, accessories and walls.

Pink hues were used on everything from walls, to furniture.

Coral – the Pantone colour of the year was also represented here and there and everywhere.

Warm, cozy, luxurious textiles were used on furniture and walls alike.

Tropical wallpaper, and a vast selection of green plants were abundant.

Brass, and bold light installations made a statement in showrooms all over the IMM.

These are just some of the thousands of trends I spotted. I’ll be back with a roundup of some of the young talents showcasing their stuff as well as some innovative things I really liked. Happy weekend everyone.
