Welcome to SIMPLY DANISH LIVING

Anya Jensen26th May 2016

Hello and a very warm welcome to my new blog SIMPLY DANISH LIVING. This blog has been on my mind for a while now, and I am more than excited to share it all with you. As some of you might know, I have been blogging on Anya in Copenhagen for several years. It is a big step for me to abandon ship, and put all my eggs in one basket and start afresh here, but I have wanted to change to WordPress for awhile now, and this seemed like a natural  next step for me.

To tell you the truth – I have discovered that for me, life is all about the small things.  The things that – if you take a moment and think about it – is what truly matters. Things that you can do without spending a lot of money, or without much effort. Hygge, and everyday magic is all around us – all you have to do is take a step back, leave the electronic devices behind, and be present in the moment. Trust me – you will be happier, and so will the people you surround yourself with.

Stick with me, and I will show you how to make the ordinary seem extraordinary. I have so much exciting stuff up my sleeve, and I will show you everything and more of what you have come to expect from me on Anya in Copenhagen.

I have already added a few recent posts from the old blog, and all of my usual social media channels are all in place, so please take a moment and follow me there. I can’t wait to share some hygge and everyday magic with you.

Anya x

Such amazing timing, I just did a search for Danish living blog and this came up. I really love all things Danish, especially the attitudes to life and family. My husband’s Grandfather was from Bornholm (hence the surname). Looking forward to reading and learning more about Denmark.
