The best iceskating rinks in Copenhagen – 2019 version

Anya Jensen1st January 2020

WE love to ice-skate. It is a simple, cheap,  and fun way to be together with the whole family. It is fun, gets you fit, and also – it is quite easy to get the kids to come outside – even though it is blistering cold.

Here we have listed our favourite ice-rinks in Copenhagen – so all you have to do is wrap up warm. Bring helmet, gloves, scarves and a flask with hot chocolate and coffee, and prepare yourself for a fun-filled day.

Because remember what they say here in Denmark: “There is no such thing as bad weather – only bad clothing

ENJOY!!
BROENS Skøjtebane

The Bridgestreet kitchen – has now opened its own ice-skating rink amongst food stalls and coffeeshops. The ice-ring is on the other side of Nyhavn – and is open every day. It is free to use and you can rent skates here. There is sometimes ice-disco as well as free skating lessons. The newest hang-out in town.

FREDERIKSBERG RUNDDEL Skøjtebane

One of the oldest, and a favorite of ours, this small but sweet ice-skating rink by Frederiksberg Rundel. The ice-rink is free to use, and you can rent skates here, as well as skating buddies, and also buy coffee, and hot chocolate in the small café.
